I graduated from Columbia College Suma Cum Laude with a BS in Business, major in Accounting and minor in Computer Science.

I have more than 20 years experience as a Controller and Accountant. I have worked for Monsanto in St. Louis, and started the Monsanto Finance Company. I left there to take a job as Controlller at a local St Louis manufacturer.

I have alway been a hands-on Controller. My experience included manufacturing, construction and accounting services. After leaving the local manufacturer, I worked as Controller for a local St Louis CPA firm.

Working with the CPA firm, I managed the financial information and payroll for the three partnerships of the firms. I also worked with clients performing their bookkeeping and payroll needs. I was the lead on payroll support for the firm, and have set up payrolls in multiple states.

I am experienced in financial reporting, general ledger reconcilations, cash management and business performance.

I also provide documentation and writing services for newletters, product desciptions, Employee Handbooks, Mission Statements, and more. As Controller, I have written Employee Handbooks, Software User Documentation and Section 125 Plans.

I publiish regularly for Demand Studios, Examiner.com and Smart and Easy Business. I also write commentaries and creative for Helium.com.
